Competition regulations
- Competitors are categorized according to length of study, not according to age. Competitors belonging to a lower category may participate in a higher category. Competitors belonging to a higher category are not allowed to participate in a lower category.
- It is not necessary to study at elementary art school to participate in the competition.
- Students of conservatories and art colleges are not allowed to participate in the competition.
- Competitors are awarded a bronze, silver and gold prize and a special jury award for exceptional performance.
- The jury also awards prize for pedagogical work.
- The jury consists of a chairperson, four jurors and a secretary. The secretary does not have the right to award points.
- The jury is appointed by the organizer.
- A competitor´s evaluation is based on the total score of points given divided by the number of jurors; the average number of points is calculated to first decimal place. Points are not published.
- Marking system:
- 23 – 25 points: gold prize,
- 20 – 22 points: silver prize,
- 17 – 19 points: bronze prize.
- 24,4 – 25 points: award for exceptional performance.
- Marking system:
- A prize for pedagogical work is awarded to the teacher whose three or more students obtain the gold award.
- Competitors must not exceed the maximum time limit. If the time limit is exceeded, the chairperson will put an end to the performance. In case of disobeying the chairperson’s instructions, the contestant will be disqualified.
- Jurors do not evaluate their students.
- The jury´s decision cannot be appealed.
- Performing by memory is requested in the piano solo category. In the category of piano four hands, six hands, and multi hands, competitors can play from sheet music.
- Competitors are ready to register at least 45 minutes before their performance.
- Contestants participate in alphabetical order.
- The competition fee cannot be refunded.
- All contestants will receive proof of payment via e-mail after accepting the application.
- Enrolling via the online application form placed on this website is only possible.
- The organizer can accept no more applications if the competition is oversubscribed.
- Agreement:
- By submitting the application, the entrant (or his/her legal representative) gives consent to the organizer to process personal data in connection with his/her participation in the competition and to the acquisition of audiovisual documentation and photo documentation related to his/her appearance at the competition and its subsequent use for further presentation and promotion of the competition.
- By submitting the application, competitors or their legal representatives express their agreement with these competition regulations.
- The organizer is SPOLEK PIANOFORTE PER TUTTI in collaboration with the Elementary Art School of Příbor.
- The competition is protected by a TRADEMARK.

Protection of personal data
SPOLEK PIANOFORTE PER TUTTI, with its registered office at Sedlnice 465, 74256, ID: 05586194, as the administrator of personal data (hereinafter the „administrator“) processes personal data for the purpose and for the time necessary for the realization of the national competition Pianoforte per tutti, or piano for all. Per the provisions of Article 13 et seq. of Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons in connection with the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46 /EC (general regulation on the protection of personal data) you have the right: a) to withdraw your consent at any time by a written message delivered to the administrator (withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of the processing based on the consent granted before its withdrawal), b) to access your personal data, c) to correct inaccurate personal data (if you believe that the personal data processed by the controller is inaccurate), d) to delete your personal data, or request the limitation of their processing, e) on the portability of personal data (only in the case of automatic processing) f) file a complaint with the Office for the Protection of Personal Data. To hold the competition, Spolek Pianoforte per tutti processes personal data: name, surname, date of birth, and year of study must be processed to correctly classify the application in the relevant competition category. The e-mail, telephone, and address of the participant are processed for contact with the participant before or after the competition (handing over certificates, invoicing, etc.)
By filling out the application for the competition, you give your consent to the processing of personal data. You can revoke this consent at any time, which may result in the cancellation of your participation in the competition.
